We start by talking it through. I check the treatment is suitable and answer your questions. Semi-permanent makeup needs a patch test 24 hours before. Blemish removal does not, and in most cases a skin tag can be treated at the same appointment.

Most blemish treatments take about 10 to 30 minutes. You may feel a mild warm or tingling sensation, but it is generally very well tolerated, and any discomfort is brief. There is no cutting.

Freezing treatments work by freezing the blemish, which can affect the healthy skin around it and is harder to control on fine facial areas and darker skin tones. Advanced electrolysis uses pinpoint heat through a very fine probe, so it treats the blemish precisely and leaves the surrounding skin alone. I find it a gentler, more controlled choice for delicate areas.
Only after your GP has confirmed in writing that it is safe to do so. Your safety comes before anything else. If you are ever unsure about a mole or a changing blemish, please see your GP first.
